Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with the Monmouth County Open Space Program Rules and Procedures, a public hearing will be held by the Borough of Belmar on July 11, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Meeting Room at the Belmar Municipal Building at 601 Main Street, Belmar, New Jersey 07719.

The purpose of the public hearing is to offer the public an opportunity to make suggestions or comments, in writing or in person, concerning the Borough of Belmar’s 2023 Monmouth County Open Space Grant Application for improvements to the basketball courts at Dempsey Park. The project site is located at 806 13^th Avenue in Belmar, New Jersey 07719. The project site is owned by the Borough of Belmar and is located within Block 137, Lot 2.

Citizens are urged to attend this meeting and offer comments on the project scope. Written comments may be mailed to the Belmar Borough Clerk, at 601 Main Street, Belmar, New Jersey 07719. Only comments received prior to 6:00 p.m. on July 11, 2023 will be considered at this public hearing.
