We would like for any residents with family members from Belmar serving our country in harms way to supply us with a photo, along with personal information such as branch of service, rank, MOS, and where stationed. 24th Annual NJ Seafood Festival THIS WEEKEND in Belmar
The 24th Annual NJ Seafood Festival in Belmar kicks off June 11th and runs through the 13th at Silver Lake Park at Ocean Avenue between 5th and 6th Avenues. The New Jersey Seafood Festival in Belmar combines a culinary celebration of seafood delights with a day of fun. The Annual event will once again unite master chefs, fine artists and crafts people along with musicians from around the state. Oystercatchers nest on Belmars Natural Beach
A pair of American Oystercatchers have begun nesting on Belmars Natural Beach between the Belmar Fishing Club and the Shark River Inlet. This area has been kept in its natural state and is one of the only natural beach habitats between Sandy Hook and Island Beach State Park.
