NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that open public bids will be received by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Belmar, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Municipal Complex, Council Chambers, 601 Main Street, Belmar, New Jersey, at 6:00 p.m.;
Two (2) - 1000 square feet spaces for a food concession at the 13th Avenue Boardwalk
(Only the space is to be provided either in front of the boardwalk or on the boardwalk. Tenant is responsible for providing the kitchen facility of their choice with approval from the Mayor & Council.)
Each lease is for a term of five (5) months from the execution of the lease.
The minimum starting bid will be $1500 per each space.
For all leases a bid deposit of $500 submitted no later than the beginning of the public auction in the form of cash, certified check or money order payable to the Borough of Belmar is required. The lease shall be made to the highest bidder by open public bidding at auction.
The Mayor and Borough Council reserve the right to in any event reject the highest bid, and if the highest bid is rejected to reject all bids. The successful bidder shall be required to execute the form of lease available from the Borough Clerk during Borough business hours, the terms and conditions of said lease being incorporated in this Resolution and Notice to Bidders as if set forth fully herein.
