Event Date: September 11th, 2021 - 8:46PM The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners in conjunction, with the Belmar Mayor and Council and the Shore municipalities in Monmouth will host “Light Up the Shore” in honor of the lives lost and the fearless display of heroism by rescue teams and citizens who responded to the tragedy on September 11th, 2001.
Everyone is invited to participate by going to the Belmar Boardwalk on Saturday, September 11th at 8:30PM sharp.
Use your cell phone, flashlight etc. to light up the skyline at 8:46PM to honor and remember these heroes.
