Bulk Sticker Pickup

Stickers may be purchased either at Borough Hall, located at 601 Main Street, or at the Recycling Center, located at Railroad Avenue and 16th Avenue.

Up to 3 bulk waste items may be place out on your second scheduled trash pickup day. Bulk items must be affixed with one sticker per twenty-five pounds or as per the schedule below. The weight of the items listed in this schedule are estimated weights formulated by the Department of Public Works. If any item not on this schedule is being placed for collection, the person placing the item should estimate the total weight of the item (in pounds) and divide that figure by 25 to arrive at the number of stickers required for that item. Matresses and box springs must be wrapped in plastic or in a mattress bag.

Do not place televisions on the curb, Sanitation will not pick them up. Televisions must be brought to the recycling center and placed in the proper bin with the correct amount of bulk stickers. We provide our residents with a safe, convenient way to recycle unwanted electronic waste such as; computers, televisions, VCRs, stereos, copiers, fax machines and other common electronic products.

Prior to placing any white metals such as refrigerators and/or air conditioning units to the curb, you must contact us with your address, type of unit and when you will be putting it curbside. The waste collection company will not pick up any unit containing chlorofluorocarbons (which requires 15 bulk stickers). We do not accept construction material or fencing of any kind.
