Biography:

Barry A. Lubin brings decades of business, financial, and public service experience to the governing body. A retired small business owner, he operated Borden's Stationery in Point Pleasant Beach for more than 30 years before retiring in 2023, continuing a business that had served the community for over a century.

In Belmar, Lubin serves as a Commissioner of the Belmar Housing Authority and previously served on the Belmar Zoning Board of Adjustment. He also works seasonally as a Belmar Boardwalk attendant and has served as a Monmouth County poll worker.

Beyond Belmar, Lubin continues to serve as a Director of the Point Pleasant Beach Parking Authority and the Benjamin J. Altheimer Charitable Foundation. He also dedicated more than 30 years of service as a Director of the Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Barry and his wife, Susan, have been married for 37 years. Together, they have three sons, two daughters-in-law, and three grandsons.
