Arbor Day 2026

The Belmar Shade Tree Commission celebrated Arbor Day again this year with a morning educational session for the 4th-grade class at St. Rose Elementary School and an afternoon educational session for the 4th-grade class at Belmar Elementary School. In both sessions, students participated in hands-on planting of dogwood and redbud saplings in the nursery areas at the Belmar Library and the Elementary School. Each students received a certificate recognizing each of them as Junior Arborists.
