To preserve and enhance the quality of the physical environment through the prompt, cost-effective and courteous delivery of services that protects the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens, and to maintain and improve Belmar’s infrastructure.
You can request pothole repair services by calling the Department of Public Works office at 732-681-0452 or by email at DPW@belmar.com. Please indicate the pothole location (i.e. address, intersection) and describe the severity of the problem (i.e. depth, width, number of potholes).
Attention: As of 1/1/2023 recycling pick-ups will now be collected by DeLisa Waste Services, 732-988-2525, on THURSDAYS.
For questions or concerns regarding your waste collections, please phone the Belmar Department of Public Works or the awarded contractor listed above.
If your garbage or recycling container exceeds 32 gallons or 50 pounds the sanitation men will NOT pick up either, pursuant to Boro Ordinance 2002-16.
Please do not place trash at curb earlier than 6 pm the night before and no later than 5 am on the day of collection.
Empty receptacles must be removed from the curbside 12 hours after collection.

PLASTIC BAGS CANNOT BE USED IN YOUR RECYCLING CAN. RECYCLING MUST BE PLACED LOOSE INSIDE THE CONTAINER. RECYCLING THAT DOES NOT CONFORM TO THE COUNTY'S REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE PICKED UP.
