Jr. Guard

Belmar Junior Lifeguards is an exciting summer program for children ages 9-17. Every Monday through Thursday during the month of July on the 6th Ave. beach, children run, swim, paddle, and kayak in preparation for local, regional, and national tournaments. The ultimate goal is to provide kids with knowledge of water safety and instill good sportsmanship. In the process, kids get to be active, have fun and often create lifelong friendships.

Junior guard is full for the season 2011 and registration for 2012 will be held at the end of April 2012 at the Belmar Recreation Center. If you have any questions you may contact Michael Campbell at recreation@belmar.com.
