I am looking to start a Stroller Strides Group in Belmar. This is a group targeting new Moms and their Baby. Check out their web site. If interested please contact me so I can get this moving…

I am in the process of working out a deal with a Party Boat Captain to take kids fishing twice a month. I welcome Parent and child involvement. There will be supervision provided however it is a great way to build memories. Please advise if you are interested. I am looking to set it up on a wed or thurs every other week if the interest is there. We are working on a great price so please contact me…

I would like in start a weekly game of wiffle ball at the beach. The time would be 11 am on wednesday starting July 1st. No charge so please advise me if you are interested. As always we encourage parental support however it is not needed. More to follow if an interest is shown.

The Belmar Recreation Program is offering scholarships to the Sailing program (8 Slots) and to the Surf Camp. I am looking to get first time sailors involved in a great sport at no cost to you. The course runs 3 week in August and finishes with the Mayors Cup. Please contact me if you know any Belmar residents ages 10 to15  interested. The surf camp runs week to week  and I am looking to help families with a great program that may not be available to kids due to these hard economic times. I don’t want the Kids to miss out, all you need do is contact me and show an interest. Open to all Belmar Residents.

I would love to host a Senior Prom at the newly rejuvenated Taylor Pavilion. Of course our Senior’s are our Senior Citizens. I am looking to get a Prom Committee together that will help me give an evening of dress and dance to our greatest generation. Please contact me to get the BALL rolling.

Last year Belmar took 53 Wounded Warriors fishing in August. I am looking to do this again but will need help from the community. Please advise if you are interested in helping to plan and raise funds for this event.

If you have any thoughts or wishes for new progarms all you need do is ask.
