Vital Statistics

The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services – Vital Statistics maintains all birth, marriage and death records for the period from 1878 to present. Those can be obtained as outlined on their website http://www.state.nj.us/health/vital/vital.shtml

To obtain a certified copy of a birth certificate, death certificate, a marriage license you must complete the Vitals Request Form and submit it to the Vital Statistics Office, 601 Main Street. The fee for a certified copy is $10.00 per each copy. Any questions please call 732-681-3700 ext. 231.
