SUBJECT: 2005 Yearly Report

The Belmar Police Department is required by Borough Ordinance to report to the Mayor on a yearly basis as to the activity of the department. The overall performance of the Police Department during 2005 has been exemplary. Besides the normal routine calls for service, our department handled many special events and serious crime investigations.

In each case our officers have exemplified what a professional department we have here in Monmouth County. The following pages of this report detail the activity of the department. As with any statistical analysis, there are fluctuating ups and downs, but these reflect a cumulative total over the 12-month period of 2005.
