Taxi Owner/Driver Applications


An application must be completed in full. There are 10 Yearly Owner Licenses and each license is allowed up to 8 vehicles. There are also 10 Summer Owner licenses and each license is allowed up to 5 vehicles. Please note that you must be a driver for a Taxi Owner that is licensed with the Borough.  The owner you are driving for must complete a Police Questionnaire form for you.

Autocab Owner License: $50.00 per vehicle

Autocab Driver License: $25.00

Taxi Vehicle Decals (per car) $12.00


 

Police Processing For All Applicants:

For New Applicants: $50.00

For Renewal Applicants: $35.00


Background Check (Money Order made payable to NJSP SBI):

For New Applicants: $30.00

For Renewal Applicants: $18.00


All Drivers and Owners will also be required to pay a $75 Tourism fee to be paid separately.

Currently there are no yearly owner’s licenses available as each yearly licensed company renews their license each year. As of January 2010 we now maintain a waiting list. If you wish to be placed on the waiting list please contact the Code Enforcement Department.
