The Department of Code Enforcement is charged with enforcing all ordinances within the Borough of Belmar and has the responsibility of ensuring that all local, County and State ordinances and regulations are observed and adhered to. The Belmar Development Regulations, which is the official manual for the Borough, encompasses such areas as building, zoning, property maintenance, required permits and the like. A copy of this complete manual may be purchased for $75 and is available in the Code Enforcement Office located in the Municipal Building.
