Message From The Fire Marshal

Welcome to the Borough of Belmar, Fire Prevention and Enforcement Bureau. I am pleased that you have taken the time to have a look at our page and it is my sincere hope that you will find it informative and user friendly. The Bureau of Fire Prevention and Enforcement works very hard each and every day to save lives and protect the community. This is only possible through partners, people like yourself, who take the time to better inform themselves and share fire safety awareness messages. We have designed this page to assist in this regard.

The Bureau of Fire Prevention and Enforcement is responsible for the overall administration and enforcement of the New Jersey State Uniform Fire Code and local fire ordinances.

We will continue to strive to improve communications in terms of education, enforcement, engineering and operations as well as strengthen our partnership with the courageous and devoted fire personnel in the Borough who help keep us all safe from the ravages of fire.
