Call for Art!

The Belmar Arts Council sends out a call for art for its 2nd in a series of 4 summer art shows.  “Metaphors,” an abstract art show will run from July 11 – 31.  This show is a benefit for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  50% of all proceeds will go directly to JDRF.  Intake is this Saturday, June 27 between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.  The show is open to artists ages 17+.  All mediums accepted.  Work must be framed and wired for hanging.  Entry fee is $10 for members/$15 for non-members.  We are always looking for new members!  You may submit 2 pieces of art, but only one will be hung.  The 2nd piece may be hung, space permitting, at the discretion of the committee.  Opening Reception is Saturday, July 11 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.  An entry form may be obtained at the BAC on the date of entry or by visiting BelmarArts.org
