State Inspection to Close Ocean Avenue Bridge This Week

The Ocean Avenue Bridge will be temporarily closed later this week while crews conduct routine inspections, according to a release from Monmouth County officials. The Shark River Bridge along Ocean Avenue between Belmar and Avon-by-the-Sea will be closed Thursday, Jan. 26, beginning at 10 p.m., and lasting three to four hours, the release says.
