Belmar diehards now have a link to town no matter where they are, as long as they have an iPhone or iPod and the brand new iBelmarGuide application, available for download for FREE through iTunes.

From the app store:
“Beautiful Belmar is a well-kept secret of the Eastern Seaboard, and lots of locals would be happy to keep it that way.  But hey, you deserve to make the most of your vacation, so here’s the scoop:  Belmar is a tourist-friendly residential town with wide beaches, a beautiful marina, water sports, great restaurants, an active arts community, and something for everyone, from 2 to 92.

Whether you’re planning your Jersey Shore vacation, a veteran visitor relaxing on your favorite beach, or a resident looking for a night out, the iBelmarGuide pretty much covers your needs.  It sets the scene with a little history (Springsteen lovers: E Street, Belmar is that E Street), annual events (the Seafood Festival is one of the top 100 events in North America) and a general geographic overview of this one-square-mile town.  The iBelmarGuide covers getting here and getting around while you’re here: where to stay, eat, shop and relax; things to entertain kids; sports and culture; as well as the emergency services we hope you’ll never need.

Belmar’s grown up since the 60s and 70s.  So while there are plenty of opportunities for tanning, good music and a drink overlooking the ocean, if you envision “Snooki” and “Pauly D” when you think of Belmar, you need to think again.  A visit to Belmar will turn you into a Belmar-lover.

Features: Shark River Marina, Dining, Lodging, Shopping, Night Life, The Arts, Belmar History, Nearby, Help, The Beach, Surfing, Kayaking, Biking, Running and Walking, Parasailing, Boating, Fishing, Birdwatching, Still More Things To Do, Stuff For Kids, and Locator Map.”

Visit the iTunes store to preview the iBelmarGuide application and help promote the app (and our beautiful town) by leaving a review!

    Hello,
I am a local artist looking for information on how to sign up for the Art Walk this year.
    Thanks!
