Wi-Fi pulls in to the Belmar Train Station

You can now surf the web on your laptop or iPhone while you wait for the train or to pick up a loved one at the Belmar train station. The only catch is that you have to be a Cablevision or Comcast high-speed Internet customer. On Thursday, May 14, Cablevision launched this latest service expansion in Belmar and at nine other train stations in Monmouth County.
This is just the latest expansion of Cablevision’s Wi-Fi wireless access service in Belmar for Optimum Online customers. According to Cablevision’s Wi-Fi coverage map, all of Belmar’s downtown is within reach of a Cablevision Wi-Fi signal, as are Belmar’s beaches from Eighth to Eighteenth Avenues.
