City on the Moon at the Belmar Arts Council

CITY ON THE MOON – For kids, 13 and up, who would like to leave the planet for a week this summer, the Belmar Arts Council is offering art, science, craft and fun in a one week program entitled “City on the Moon”. Participants will join arts council volunteers in building a model of our first lunar city. The program will take place at the Arts Council’s headquarters, The Boatworks, 608 River Rd. in Belmar and is presented by Tim McCorry, local architect, composer and teacher of Belmar Elementary School’s 8th grade arts and science enrichment program. The program will meet mornings, 9am to noon, Monday July 27 to Friday July 31st. The fee for the program is $50.00 and includes all materials.  Please call the Arts Council for more information or to register at 732-749-3360.
