The Next Soccer Sign -ups will be held June 24-25 from 7pm till 830pm in the gym 601 Main Street. Please mark the dates. The first sign-ups went well and I don’t want anyone to get closed out so please sign your child up.  The price is $35 for one child .

The wiffleball games will start on July 1st at 10:00 am at the Second Ave beach. It is open to anyone wishing to play. Family participation is encouraged. The only cost is a smile.

There has been some interest in fishing on a party boat. The trips will be set for wednesdays but I need to hear if you are interested so I can work out the details. Please email if you wish to participate.

I can now schedule Belmar children for a free surf camp. The camp will start on June 22 and start every Monday for the summer. If you have a child that is interested and things are tight please email me and I can help.

I have 3 more slots for free sailing in August. this is a 3 week course and is very well run . Please contact me if you have a child interested. Ages 9-14.

The Senior Yoga/Exercise classes are held at the Taylor Pavilion every Monday and Friday at 0830. The classes are free so enjoy the mornings with some friends.

lifeguards-at-4th-ave-003Belmar’s well-trained and highly professional lifeguards are already on duty each day keeping a watchful eye over our bathers. Although Belmar’s beaches will be free on weekdays until June 15, 2009, Belmar’s lifeguards are on duty every day.

IMPORTANT: No matter how experienced a swimmer you are, always swim near a lifeguard. Also, at each entrance gate to the Belmar beach, there is a sign with information about Rip Currents. Please take a moment to learn how to avoid Rip Currents, and what to do if you find yourself caught in one.
